Spikeball

Lithuania

Spikeball is a fast, energetic team game played by four players in teams of two. Instead of a traditional court, the action happens around a small, round net placed low to the ground at the centre of play.

The game begins with a serve onto the net, sending the ball bouncing toward the opposing team. Each team has up to three touches to control the ball and return it back onto the net. Once the rally begins, there are no fixed sides — players move freely around the net, creating a dynamic, 360-degree playing experience.

Points are scored when a team is unable to return the ball within their three touches. Easy to learn and requiring minimal equipment, Spikeball is perfect for outdoor spaces and inclusive, social play across a wide range of ages and abilities.

At the European Sport for All Games 2026, Spikeball will bring high-energy competition and inclusive fun to the programme. Demonstrations and open participation sessions will invite attendees to jump in, learn quickly, and experience the excitement firsthand. Fast, fun, and fiercely engaging — grab a teammate, step up to the net, and be part of the action!
